The team at Caldera are pleased to announce we are currently working on a £750k refurbishment project on Barbauld Road, in the heart of Stoke Newington. What was historically a bakery from 150 years ago, eventually became a number of flats which fell into disrepair. Now the building is in our hands; we hope to breathe some new life back into the premises.
Caldera are pleased to have been awarded a contract at Tongdean Lane in Brighton. We will be building two detached houses for a new residential development from County Gate Properties. Plans detail two 3-storey houses, constructed in brickwork and surrounded by completed landscaping works and paving.
We have recently been appointed a contract and begun works on Lancaster Avenue, Enfield. The contract entails an extension on both the rear and front of the building. Following this the building will undergo a full refurbishment, to be completed as a Synagogue.
Guildford Christ Church is a project we have won through recommendation off the back of one of our larger jobs, Guildford Baptist Church. After 3 separate phases of this job we were recommended to the Christ Church and are happy to announce we will be undergoing the works for Thomas Ford & Partners. We will be ripping out the pews, installing new raised floors throughout, and adding a new induction loop, as well as new toilets and a commercial kitchen.
5 Victoria Grove is a refurbishment to a luxury house in Kensington, for a private client. The property has sat dormant for several years as work previously started but the project was abandoned. Since taking over we have ripped out and rebuilt 3 curved staircases, from the 2nd floor down to the basement, and stripped out / reinstated services where necessary to meet regulations.
